The Landau copy of the 1466 Strassburg Bible in German is offered on the upper wrapper (£5000); a heraldic manuscript, written and illuminated in 1592 by Morgan Coleman for Sir Francis Bacon (£800), and a copy of Wynkyn de Worde’s Scala Perfectionis 1494 bearing the presentation inscription of Margaret Beaufort, Countess of Richmond (£8500), are advertised on the lower wrapper. ¶ Paper browned.
