Publisher’s printed wrappers. - Includes the Library of the Norwegian restaurateur Hroar Dege (1930-2003). “The Dege books included André Simon’s nice copy of the 1483 Koberger Bartholomaeus Anglicus, £7800, Bock Kreütterbuch 1587, also in contemporary German tawed hide, £4080, a collection of books on coffee and chocolate that made £6480… The first Le pastissier françois 1688 made the top price, £36,000, with the elegant plates of L’art de trancher la viande [Lyon, c. 1647] not far behind at £33,600” (from a saleroom report in The Book Collector, Winter 2005, pp.567-568). ¶ Unmarked copy.
