Publisher’s printed wrappers. - Included was a fine group of eighteen Pillone Library books (lots 70-86), from the collection of Bartolomé March. Among books from the Knowsley Library, sold following the death of the 18th Earl of Derby, was a tract volume (lot 191) containing the Pavier quartos of Henry the fift (“1608”, i.e 1619) and A Yorkshire Tragedie (1619), which sold for £70,000 (Stephen Massey). ¶ Annotations, partly priced.
