Houghton copy of Bacon’s Instauratio magna 1620 (lot 3, $387,500), the Chatsworth copy of Sir Thomas More’s Utopia 1516 (lot 33, $233,500), the Honeyman copy of the first printed telephone directory 1878 (lot 42, $20,700), and Honeyman’s 1543 Vesalius (lot 47, $173,000). ¶ Occasional annotation.
