Publisher’s printed wrappers. - The library was sold en bloc in advance of the proposed auction to the Republic of Austria on behalf of the Karl-Popper-Sammlung at the University of Klagenfurt. The purchase price was approximately $1.05 million (ATS 11 million). Popper’s archive had been purchased by Stanford University in the 1980s. Cf. Manfred Lube, “Karl R.
