Publisher’s printed wrappers. - A collection assembled by the American bookseller Jeremy Norman. The books realised “all about estimate, except for White, Account of the Regular Gradation of Man 1799, in an exceptionally fine binding by I. & S. Dodge, which made £4700 (Marlborough), against an estimate of £1500-2000” (from a saleroom report in The Book Collector, Spring 1993, p.94). Includes bibliographical references (pp.[160-161]) and copious index. ¶ Unmarked copy.
