The books realised “all about estimate, except for White, Account of the Regular Gradation of Man 1799, in an exceptionally fine binding by I. & S. Dodge, which made £4700 (Marlborough), against an estimate of £1500-2000” (from a saleroom report in The Book Collector, Spring 1993, p.94). Includes bibliographical references (pp.[160-161]) and copious index. ¶ Unmarked copy.
