Publisher’s printed wrappers. - Contains property from the libraries of Sir Thomas Phillipps (1792-1872) and Sir Alfred Chester Beatty (1875-1968), and from the collection of Johan Arnold Dortmond (1912-1988), a wholesale dealer in stationery and office materials. The top price was paid by “Johnson” (Chiesa) for Phillipps Ms 1940, La description des douzes Cesars abregees, c. 1520, with twelve full-page miniatures by Jean Bourdichon. ¶ Annotated copy, partly priced.
