Publisher’s printed wrappers. - Named consignors include Kurt Arnhold; the bookseller Philip Robinson (1902-1991); H.H. George, Prince de Montis Regalis Campion Hall, Spurgeon’s College. Two highlights of the sale were an illustrated manuscript of Basinio da Parma Astronomicon, c. 1455-1460, from the library of Malatesta Novello at Cesena, (lot 72, £115,500, to “Pelluccioni”) and an early 16th century Florentine manuscript of Petrarch, I Trionfi, consigned by the Executors of Philip Robinson, (lot 75, ££99,000, to Henri Schiller against Chiesa). ¶ Annotated copy, partly priced.
