The sale included (lot 249) the only known manuscript of Thomas Stanley’s published poems (with a few unpublished), dated 1646, the year before the first printed edition; bought by Breslauer, it is now Cambridge University Library, Ms Ad 7514 (Galbraith M. Crump, “Thomas Stanley’s manuscript of his poems and translations” in Transactions of the Cambridge Bibliographical Society, volume 2, 1958, pp.359-365).
