As it was, the very fine illuminated Schoeffer Gratian (1472) made a respectable $220,000 [$242,000 inclusive of premium], but all too many books were bought in” (saleroom report in The Book Collector, Spring 1992, p.98). Rubbings of bindings stamps (nos. 1-88). ¶ Unmarked copy.
