III (27-28 April 1950): 48 pp. Lots numbered 801-1186. Publisher’s printed wrappers. - The foundation of the Hurn Court Library (Christchurch, Hampshire) was laid by James Harris (1709-1780), a trustee of the British Museum; additions were made by the first Lord Malmesbury (1746-1820). Sotheby’s had sold 35 important books from the library on 26 March 1929. ¶ Excellent, unmarked copies.
