Publisher’s pictorial wrappers. - Library of the naturalised American citizen Leopold Hugo Paul Klotz (c. 1908-1993), who made his fortune during the War as an aircraft manufacturer. A large proportion of his collection was acquired via the Munich auctioneer Karl Hartung (1914-2012). Contains “Provenance Index of the Incunabula” and “Rubbings of Binding Tools on Incunabula” (60 are reproduced).
