Publisher’s printed wrappers. - “The Freidus Collection of Baroque Book Illustration” (lots 150-362). The top price paid for a Freidus book was $34,100 (lot 257, the 1685 Amsterdam La Fontaine, illustrated by Romeyn de Hooghe, this the Holford–Edmée Maus copy bound in 18th-century French red morocco). ¶ Copiously annotated copy, partly priced.
