Publisher’s printed wrappers. - A second sale was conducted by the same auctioneers on 1 September 1942 (Livres rares et précieux provenant des bibliothèques du Prince D’Essling et d’un amateur Suisse: Manuscrits, incunables, reliures, livres a figures du XVIe au XIXe siècle); further books were sold anonymously in a sale conducted by Rauch in Geneva, 2-4 March 1953 (Vente 3: Manuscrits enluminés, incunables, xylographies). ¶ Unidentified exlibris (7 × 4 cm, “Nihil humanum a me alienum pute”). Spine titled in ink. Good copy.
