Publisher’s printed wrappers. - Includes the Northumberland Bestiary, a Latin manuscript on vellum, Northern England, c. 1250-1260 (lot 101, sold to Quaritch £2,970,000, against Pierre Berès). Lots 58-94 comprise the complete Russian manuscript collection of Paul M. Fekula (1905-1982), “the most comprehensive group of Slavonic manuscripts ever sold at auction”; almost every lot was purchased by Sam Fogg. ¶ Annotated copy, partly priced.
