Publisher’s printed wrappers. - The copy of The Communist Manifesto was bought for £26,400 by the Valmadonna Trust; it is one of eleven recorded copies of the second issue (three copies of the first issue are known). Also sold (lot 79) was the pattern book of a Bernese artisan (1605). ¶ Annotated copy, partly priced. No price list.
