(21 cm), offprint from Studi Danteschi, volume 53 (1981), pp.291-334. - This manuscript (Phillipps Ms 16281) had been formerly in the collection of Guglielmo Libri (his sale by S. Leigh Sotheby & John Wilkinson, London, 28 March-5 April 1859, lot 236); it returned to the market with Hoepli, Libri insigni XIV-XVI secolo (Milan ), no. 13, and was known to Brambilla Ageno from photographs supplied by the bookseller Carla Marzoli. According to the Schoenberg Database of Manuscripts, it reappeared in Sotheby’s on 18th June 1991, lot 106, and is now in the library of Henri Schiller, Paris. ¶ Good copy.
