(28 cm), 429 (3) pp., illustrations (most in colour). 208 catalogue entries. Publisher’s plain wrappers, pictorial dust jacket. - Exhibition of paintings, graphic and decorative works of art. Among the drawings were sheets by Ferdinando Sanfelice for ephemeral funeral apparati, and by Filippo Marinelli and Nicola Fiore for firework displays. A set of ten engravings of “Macchine della Cuccagna” were lent from a private Neapolitan collection (no. 129); engraved maps and views were selected from local public collections. ¶ Fine copy.
