Publisher’s pictorial boards. - The first comprehensive catalogue of the watermarks found in the prints of Rembrandt van Rijn, the product of the authors’ examination of 2,765 impressions located in 10 museum collections (936 of the sheets contained watermarks, and most of these were recorded using beta or x-ray radiography).
