Ten essays, including Rainer Schoch on Nuremberg printmaking and Hermann Maué on the development of the Renaissance portrait medal in Germany. Among dozens of works lent by the Germanisches Nationalmuseum are the Missal of Anton Kress (item 54) and the Girdle Book of Hieronymus Kress (item 83). ¶ Fine copy.
